Description
Nine acres of Prime hunting land in rural Jasper County, Mississippi. Secluded, yet easily accessed from Interstate 59 and U. S. Highway 11. Located 8.6 miles east of Montrose, MS., County Road 23, on the Rose Hills of Jasper County. The ETV tower of Rose Hill is within approximately one-half mile of this property. Call for directions or try it on your own. 601-580-1347 Heading north on Highway 15 turn left directly across from the sign that points to Montrose Presbyterian Church. There is an old store in the turn. Heading east on CR-23, go 8.6 miles. There is a sharp curve after a series of hills. Watch for the yellow and black curve sign on the right. If you go to the ETV transmission tower, you've gone too far. There is an entrance on the right of the road with a cable blocking the entrance. Directly ahead is a deer stand, as shown in picture 1. Entrance to the property is on a slight hill. The driveway into the property has been bush hogged. This deer stand will go with the sell of the property. This picture shows the driveway and rolling hills. This is some of the most beautiful land in the state; it is about 30 minutes from Laurel or 45 minutes from Meridian, MS. It is only about 15 minutes from Bay Springs, MS. This picture continues on the driveway, which has been opened all the way to the back of the property. The flora and fauna are native to this area and very beautiful. This picture shows the second deer stand on the property. This stand has a small tent on top. It was put up last winter and has weathered extremely well through Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. The property is approximately 120 miles from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Deer tracks are everywhere. We saw four deer while photographing these pictures! We tried to photograph them, but they got away. This clay hill is truly interesting. I don't know how to describe the formations. They are amazing. It is also an excellent site for target practice and animals tracks are everywhere. The reddish color just below the clay hill is a small pond. There is a dam crossing it to the hill. There are gorgeous ravines and a small stream on the property.
