Description
Highly productive 80 acre farm in Tama County, Iowa, to be sold in a private auction at law office. The farm has an average weighted CSR (corn suitability rating) of 84. An average weighted Corn Suitability Rating is an objective function of the number of acres of each soil type found in the parcel. A CSR of 100 is the best and a CSR of 84 is not untypical in Tama County and Iowa, in general. Recent sales for nearby parcels with 75 CSRs were between $6,500.00 and $9,100.00 per acre--Sellers expect this farm to sell on the high end of that range. This farm could be cash rented for approximately $250.00 per acre, visit the Iowa State University Extension Service website and view the most recent survey for cash rental rates in Tama County.
