Beach front property Sea of Cortez Sonora Mexico Free trailer 33' (pictured below) if you use the buy it now option Beautiful beach frontage of 40 meters wide by approximately 189 meters long. Major street to the beach whole parcel. Clean legal title not currently being respected by locals or the State Government of Sonora. Criminals have thrown us off our land with molotov cocktails and death threats and threats of use of machetes. Although arrest warrants were finally issued after a year and a half of fighting for these warrants; they have not been enforced. Nobody has gone to jail because of this violence and theft of our land! More info can be had at www.elgolfonews.com if you can read Spanish you can read the Spanish version at www.noticiaselgolfo.com it is more up to date. on August 5, 2008 the Circuit Court of Appeals in the City of Caborca, Sonora Mexico posted on their website that they ruled the lower court was correct in denying us restitution of the land in question. In Sonora, legal title does not guarantee the right of possession. Just the right of ownership, transfer and encumbrance. So if you do purchase this property, you will have every right to encumber, transfer and own just not physical use of the land because you too will be attacked as we were and the State of Sonora will allow it, especially if you are an American investor, for you have no rights in Mexico! For the American investor in Sonora, the term real estate would be an oxymoron. It's more like virtual real estate. It's there, you just can't touch it. Our parcel had a block wall around the perimeter until it was knocked down (official position was that a hurricane hit it) and the trailer (pictured) will be thrown in free of charge as well. The trailer was also the victim of the same "hurricane" that attacked the block wall! Hurricanes don't hit in the Colorado River Delta. Some have inquired as to where the property is situated. Just follow the Colorado River south into the Sea of Cortez and it's just a bit south on the Sonora side of the Sea of Cortez. Just like Glamis, but with a beach! Beautiful views, just 70 miles south of the border and 90 miles south of Yuma, Arizona. You too, can enjoy the same aggrevation my family has had to endure over the past three and a half years. We have only spent $250,000 (American dollars) in the legal fight trying to recoup the land we own, but are not entitled to physically enjoy because criminals have the right to possess said property. This situation is a "social problem" and not a legal one! Our previous squatters and perpetrators of the crime of "despojo" (that means kicking someone off their legally own land and stealing it) are now our new squatters that have NOT been indicted by the state prosecutor because he has NOT recieved special permission form the attorney generals office to do his job. I recently filed an administrative complaint against the state prosecutor with the state controllers office in Hermosillo for dereliction of duty. You can read more about this on my blog. Oh, I almost forgot. If you are a resident of California, you can forget about help from our Governor because although he promotes investment in Mexico, he thinks that this is a Mexico problem and not a California problem. If you think you will get help from the American Consulate, FORGET about it! They too are not going to do a thing for you! So if you are brave enough to risk purchasing this property at a very discounted price you will have a multi million dollar view for just one million! The only American government agency looking into the FLEECING of the American investor in Sonora, Mexico is Governor Janet Napolitano's administration for the Great State of Arizona! You too can enjoy being called a "Gringo illegally in Mexico!" Remember, a bad investment in America is better than a bad investment in Sonora, MEXICO! Update: ( 8-21-08) Our squatters have been given electrical and water service and continue to build on our land while the government REFUSES to prosecute these criminals. Update: (10-1-08) On Oct 6, 2008 the Federal court system will hear our motion for an "amparo", basically a federal court order forcing the state prosecutor of Sonora to do his job and indict the criminals he is protecting! The call it a "constitutional hearing" to see if they are indeed depriving us the legal owners of the land of our constitutional right to PHYSICALLY use and enjoy our legally titled and purchased property. On Oct 16, 2008 the Federal Agrarian Court will re-hear our case because the criminals did not like the last ruling that acknowledged that we were entitled as owners to possess our land! Maybe we can finally get this matter OUT of the hands of the corrupt Sonoran officials that have bent over backwards to appease the criminals so that they won't loose their votes!
