ALASKA PLACER GOLD MINING CLAIMS on ALFRED CREEK UNPATENTED PLACER MINING ACTIVITY WILLOW CREEK MINING DISTRICT ALFRED CREEK STATE of ALASKA T.22 N., R.10 E., Sec. 36, Seward Meridian; Anchorage D-2 Quad Map Up for sale are 35 mining claims within the Willow Creek Mining District around the Alfred Creek Drainage Also included is the camp with all the improvements, buildings, vehicles, equipment and a 2000’ airstrip These claims have been owned and worked by Ed Dewitt since 1982. Mr. Dewitt has found gold on all 35 claims, but has concentrated his efforts on 4 of them. It is on these 4 claims that the camp is located. Up to an ounce a day has been found around the camp area 1400 Acres Total - Each claim is 40 acres The claims are outlined in red on the following map. The claim numbers as shown on the map are: 2, 3, 4, 5, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 5, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 1 (4 claims within this quadrant), 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The camp area is located within the quadrant with claim numbers 2, 3, 4 & 5 with the double red lines The mining camp is accessible by driving. The mining camp is located 12 miles off the Glenn Highway. The turn off to the mine from the Glenn Highway is 123 miles from Anchorage. The road to the camp is drivable during the months of July, August and September. The camp can also be reached by 4-wheelers or aircraft. The road is made of gravel and is not state maintained. Keeping it cleared in the winter is not practical. There is year round accessibility with use of snow machines or aircraft Buildings and Equipment for ALFRED CREEK Mining Claims The following is a list of buildings and equipment that are included with the sale of the claims. These are all located in the Camp Area: · Six Buildings: -Main House with a kitchen, bedroom, shower and food storage. It is heated year round with running water in the summer months. Cummings diesel; Power steering; all new tires – in excellent condition -1967 American Motors M814 WB; Duse and a half. New engine, new transmission, new tires, power steering, winch, all fuel diesel. Has a 300 gallon fuel tank mounted on truck for fuel hauling and supplies -1970 Detroit Diesel 12 Kw Generator -CAT 996-C; Front end loader. No oil leaks – excellent condition -Hecter Recovery Plant.
