Description
5 Acres in Kern County, just 1.5 Miles North of the La County Line. The reason that is so important is I am into shooting Guns and Kern County allows you to shoot your Weapons on your own property for target practice or hunting. And being so close to LA it’s a easy 1.5 Hour Drive from Downtown LA. The property has County maintained dirt roads, regular car can get there with no problem, the Land is Flat at a 2,925 foot elevation, every spring you will be amazed at the Poppy Flowers in bloom covering the whole 5 acres, you have some beautiful Joshua trees that also bloom at that time. If your into shooting guns you have no neighbors to your North and North East directions. Water is available at about 400 feet deep via drilling a Well, Sewage will require a Septic Tank, Electricity is about ¼ mile away. I personally just use it for a place to shoot. There is a small town 2 miles from the Lot called Neenach, and is about 5 miles from Rosamond. It is very close to Tejon Ranch, and the Tehachapi Mountains base is 1 mile north of the lot to the south you would have a beautiful view of the Angeles Forest in the Mountains. I am selling this lot so I can build on a bigger lot that I own nearby. There will be a $150.00 transfer fee once we recieve certified funds, the Deed should take 3-5 weeks from the Kern County Recorder, if you want to use Escrow services that is fine but at your Buyers Expense.
